(1) The original factory has an air filter element with an inner tank. Don't throw away the inner tank to save trouble. One more inner tank will have one more filter system. This is the design of the vehicle when it leaves the factory, in order to make the engine life longer. However, the existence of the inner tank will cause an additional obstacle to the air intake of the engine. Relatively speaking, the performance of power will be a little less than that of an engine equipped with a separate air filter, but this experience is not obvious during driving.

(2) Many truck drivers will remove the air filter by themselves for maintenance. But one thing to note is that the positive and negative of the air filter element must not be installed incorrectly. If it is installed incorrectly, it will cause the engine to emit black smoke as soon as it is started, and it will abnormally stall after a few seconds.

Where are the air filter elements generally installed? Heavy truck models are basically installed on the right rear or rear middle of the cab, light truck models are basically behind the right side of the cab, and some micro-cards are installed under the right side of the cab, near the steering wheel.
